Water brakes are the heart of many dynamometers. They convert the energy produced by an engine into hea\t, which is absorbed by water pumped through the brake.
This water brake has a 12″ diameter housing, and a 10″ dual-sided rotor. It is rated up to 10,000 RPM. Torque capacity begins at 200 lb-ft at 2000 RPM.
